Cuyos – I don't hear, I don't see, I don't speak

This unique collection features three whose represented under the ancestral theme of “I don’t hear, I don’t see, I don’t speak,”, Reinterpreted through Huichol art. Inspired by the philosophy of the three wise monkeys, the artisans have brought these small, emblematic animals of the Andes to life, transforming them into bearers of a universal message of prudence and wisdom.

Each guinea pig is carefully crafted using the traditional Huichol technique, which involves applying vibrant colored beads to a wooden or resin base, creating geometric and symbolic patterns that reflect the Wixárika worldview. The intense shades of blue, red, yellow, and green evoke a connection with nature, spirit, and vital energy.

The first guinea pig covers its ears, symbolizing the decision not to listen to negativity; the second covers its eyes, as a reminder not to be contaminated by what is harmful; and the third covers its mouth, inviting discretion and conscious speech. Together, they form a triad that conveys a message of harmony and balance, fusing Eastern tradition with the richness of Mexican culture.
